Frequently Asked questions
EVENTS & REGISTRATION
Where can I find details about 2026 Latitudes Cruise events?
- The Latitudes Cruise website provides an overview of onboard programming and cruise highlights.
- Detailed event descriptions, eligibility requirements and event dates/times are accessible via Cvent, the event registration platform being used for this sailing.
Will all Latitudes Cruise events require advance registration?
- No. Some larger-scale events will be open to all guests sailing and will operate on a first-come, first-served basis. These are considered Open Events.
- Other events will have limited capacity and/or tier eligibility requirements and will require advance registration. These are considered Reserved Events.
- Shore excursions, including those specially curated for the 2026 Latitudes Cruise, can be booked through MyNCL or by calling 866-625-1167.
What is the difference between Open and Reserved Events?
- Open Events are available to all guests on a first-come, first-served basis. We ask that you add Open Events to your schedule during registration, so they appear on your itinerary and help avoid scheduling conflicts. However, adding an Open Event does not reserve or guarantee a spot.
- Reserved Events are capacity-restricted experiences and have tier eligibility requirements. To attend a Reserved Event, you must book the event through Cvent. A confirmed registration secures your spot.
How can I sign up for Reserved Events?
- Guest 1 on the reservation is responsible for registering qualified guests within their stateroom for eligible Reserved Events via Cvent.
- Guest 1 will receive an email notification to sign up for events. The Cvent registration site can also be accessed through the Latitudes Cruise website. Guest 1 will be required to enter verification information to access their registration portal.
- After registering for events, guests can view and change their schedules on the registration portal. Guests will be able to view event details, eligibility information and registration confirmations in the Cvent mobile app. More information regarding the Cvent mobile app below.
Why don’t I see everyone in my stateroom in Cvent?
- Cvent will only display guests in your stateroom who are Latitudes Rewards members. If you’re traveling with a first-time cruiser or someone who is not yet a Latitudes Rewards member, they will not appear in Cvent. If Guest 1 is not a Latitudes Rewards member, the registration email will be sent to the next Latitudes Rewards member listed on the reservation.
- Don’t worry, first-time cruisers and non-members can still join you for Open Events, which are available to all guests on a first-come, first-served basis.
When can I start signing up for Reserved Events?
- The booking window for Reserved Events opened to Latitudes Rewards members on October 30, 2026.
- Ambassador, Diamond, Sapphire, Platinum, Gold and Silver members can register for one Reserved Event and add Open Events to their schedules.
- Bronze members can add Open Events to their schedules, but Reserved Events are restricted by tier requirements.
- Shore excursions: Latitudes Cruise exclusive shore excursions opened to eligible guests on September 12, 2026. Shore excursions follow the standard booking process and can be reserved by logging in to your NCL account or by calling 866-625-1167, subject to availability.
- Latitudes Island Escape: Sip, Sail & Snorkel: open to all Latitudes Rewards members (Charge associated).
- The Puerto Plata Latitudes Experience: open to Diamond and Ambassador members (Complimentary).

Can I register my travel companion for events?
- Guest 1 on the reservation is responsible for registering eligible guests within their stateroom for events via Cvent.
- Eligible guests within the same stateroom may be registered for different events, subject to eligibility requirements and event availability.
- Event eligibility is based on each guest's individual Latitudes Rewards tier level.
Can I register for events that overlap?
- No. Guests may only register for one event during a given time period.
- This helps ensure that guests do not hold a spot they cannot physically attend and gives all guests the opportunity to participate in the widest variety of experiences throughout the sailing.
If I register for an event, does that mean I have a guaranteed spot?
- For Reserved Events, yes. A confirmed registration in Cvent reserves your place in the event.
- For Open Events, no. Adding the event to your itinerary helps organize your schedule and prevent conflicts with other activities, but attendance remains first-come, first-served and is not guaranteed.
Can I modify or cancel an event registration after I submit it?
- Registered guests may modify their event selections via the Cvent website or Cvent mobile app subject to event availability.
- Guests who cancel a confirmed registration are not guaranteed the opportunity to re-register for the same event.
What happens if an event is full?
- If an event has reached capacity and you are still interested in attending, you may join the standby list at the event entrance. To ensure the best possible experience for all guests, the standby list will be limited to the first 15 guests per event. Please note that joining the standby list does not guarantee a spot.
- Guests who are unable to secure a spot in a capacity-restricted event of their choice will still have access to a variety of specially curated Open Events hosted throughout the sailing.
CVENT MOBILE APP
Guests will be able to view event details, eligibility information and registration confirmations in the Cvent mobile app.
Additional information on how to download the app and access or modify your registered events will be shared in the coming weeks.
EVENT BADGE & CHECK-IN
Why do I need an event badge?
- Each guest will receive an event badge and lanyard containing their registration information and a unique QR code.
- Event staff will scan the QR code to verify registrations and check guests into Reserved Events.
How do I get my event badge?
- Guests should pick up their event badge at the terminal on embarkation day after they've checked in for the cruise. The team will be available at the terminal until 1pm EST.
- A Cvent support representative will be available in the terminal on embarkation day to assist with app access and questions.
When should I arrive for a Reserved Event?
- Guests should arrive 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start time to allow for check-in and help ensure events can begin promptly as scheduled.
- Guests will be required to present their event badge for entry and registration verification.
Will my spot be held if I arrive late to a Reserved Event?
- Due to limited capacity, guests who have not checked in within five minutes of the scheduled start time may forfeit their reserved spot.
- To ensure available capacity is fully utilized and as many guests as possible can enjoy the event, unclaimed spots may be released to guests waiting in the standby line.
- Available spots will be offered to guests in the standby line on a first-come, first-served basis as space becomes available. To ensure a comfortable guest experience, the standby line will be limited to the first 15 guests per event.
